Step ONE There is no other person, means or method of salvation EXCEPT THROUGH JESUS CHRIST
Acts 4:12 (NASV) “And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved.”
Ephesians 2:8-9 (NASV) (8) “For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of your- selves, it is the gift of God; (9) not as a result of works, that no one should boast.”
Step TWO Accepting Jesus requires that we ADMIT THAT WE ARE SINNERS.
Romans 3:23 (NASV) “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,”
Romans 6:23 (NASV) “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
1 John 1:10 (NASV) “If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.”
Step THREE Accepting Jesus requires that we CONFESS OUR SINS.
Luke 13:3 (NASV) “I tell you, no, but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.”
1 John 1:9 (NASV) “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” |
